The Metro Mutt is comprised of the Dynamic Doggie Duo of Robert "Murph" Murphy and Dixie "Doodles" Murphy.  These two are often seen out and about in Dorchester.  Whether they are hunting squirrels in Dot Park, romping with their friends at Victory Park, struttin' their stuff at Hennesey Park, or patroling the local neighborhoods, they are always having a good time! 

When the two realized they could spread their joy of exercise and pursuit of a good time throughout the metro area, the partnership (formed by one former sales rep and one rescue mutt) sparked the creation of THE METRO MUTT!

When it came time to make the magic happen, they knew that Dixie has had plenty of experience being a dog, but Murph could bring to the table  his years of experience helping out in the family biz!! It's no surprise. . .The Metro Mutt has family ties to South Shore Suburbia's Pooch Patrol founded and run by Murph's sister and Dixie's Auntie Keri for the past 10 years.  

The perfect storm of support from wife Andrea, advice from the Pooch Patrol, and the moxie of partner Dixie has brought to life and made possible the Murph and Dixie team of The Metro Mutt. 

The Mutt is dedicated to promoting the fitness and socialization of all metro pets and will care for yours as if was apart of their own family.  They know from experience that a stimulated but tired pet (not to mention owner) are two of the elements for happiness!
